Welcome back, Mustang community! Thursday is the first day of school on a regular bell schedule, and Friday we rally 💚💛. To our new freshmen and to your families and caregivers, welcome to San Marin High School.

Schedules come out today, Tuesday, at around 3:30 PM. Before they do, a word about how they were built. Last spring students chose the courses they wanted this year. We built and staffed classes around those requests, and counselors met with students one at a time to check that each is enrolled correctly and on track to graduate.
Some schedules will not look the way a student pictured them. A different teacher, a different period, a friend in another class. That is disappointing, and it is still worth giving the schedule a chance before deciding it is wrong. Our kids take their cues from us. If we meet an unexpected schedule with confidence, they are far more likely to start the year with it too.

Schedule change requests open Thursday at 8:00 AM. Scan the QR code on the Counseling Office window to start. Requests close Wednesday, September 2, which is the tenth day of the semester.
Changes are not guaranteed, and we cannot take requests by email. We also cannot move a student to get a different teacher, to be in a class with a friend, to land a particular period, or to open up a 1 to 6 schedule for sports. Bring us anything else and we will work on it with you.

The season starts before school does. Varsity Flag Football hosts Piner on Wednesday at 6:30 PM, the night before students arrive. The first home football games are Friday, August 28 against St. Ignatius, JV at 4:30 and Varsity at 7:00.
