San Marin Summer Office Hours:
The San Marin office will be open during the summer break from June 23rd through August 10th to support any questions or needs from 9am until 2pm. Any questions you may also call the office at 415-898-2121.
Are you in need of a Work Permit?
From June 23rd - July 14th work permits will be processed at the district office within the Student Services department. Any other weeks Mrs. Milani will be able process work permits here at San Marin in the counseling office. Please communicate with Mrs. Milani in advance. She can be reached at [email protected] or 415-898-5167.
Schedule Questions:
The counseling office will be closed from June 18 - August 5th. Any schedule related questions will be revisited in August. Students will be able to request schedule changes within the first 10 days of the school year. More information will be provided in August.

Dorian photographers will be on campus on June 23, July 22, July 23, August 6 and will be located in the library. We will begin by opening up all the dates but with limited appointments. As appointments fill, we will add more time slots. Parking Lot Painting:
Parking Lots will be closed for Senior painting on the weekend August 15th and 16th. Please avoid parking in the Senior Lot to allow students to paint their spaces and allow the wet paint to dry. If you are a Senior student with a purchased spot please look out for communications from Mrs. Lloyd regarding details about painting and spot design submission for approval.Summer Athletics Reminders:
In order to be cleared for any San Marin athletic team, please do the following:
Register for all interested sports here.
If you have already registered previously, login here.
Get a physical from a doctor here.
If you have trouble scheduling a doctor's appointment over the summer, we have two recommendations - either visit Carbon Health in Novato's Vintage Oaks Center and they take walk-ins for a price OR on Saturday August 8th, Carbon Health will be coming to San Marin HS and doing physicals for any athlete in need of a physical as the Fall season gets going two days later on August 10th. Carbon Health will be charging at the 8/8 Day too, but for a discounted price (more info on that as it approaches).
Get a concussion test completed here on campus with our Athletic Trainer or AD Peterson. Starting on Tuesday, July 7th, we will be hosting concussion test sessions (no appointment necessary) in room 408 here on campus. Each session will go from 1:00-3:00pm every Tuesday and Thursday throughout the month of July. The first week of August, we will be offering more times as the Fall season approaches so stay tuned for more on that.
Once all 3 of those items are done, AD Peterson will then go into your profiles one by one and CLEAR you for sports. Please be patient over the summer as we work through clearing student athletes.
*If you are not planning to play a Fall sport, you do not need to get these things done by August 10th, but they do need to be done by the time your sport does start (Winter season starts 11/2 and Spring season starts 2/8). You are, of course, welcome to get your clearance done early, so you don't have to worry about it all school year long.
